Wool has characteristic bends, or crimps, along the fiber, which lets the fibers bunch together, resulting in a fabric with excellent insulation.

Please take note: This is an artisanal product.  The imperfections in the weave give it character and uniqueness and are caused from hand-weaving.  This is not a mass-produced garment but is a labor of love and by wearing it we preserve an art form.  These pieces are traditionally handwoven in villages in Kashmir, India and you are lending a living to these artisans.
